Mom and Dad received a report from Alex's school that he made his way across the room today with a combination of rolling and lunging. He is officially mobile, but only when he really wants to get somewhere. We will try to get a video of it soon.
Here are some pictures and videos from this week:

First Easter
Alex enjoyed his first easter. Dad was very sick in bed all day and the weather was lousy, so Alex and Mom played in the house. They did every activity they could think of. Then, at 3pm, they went to easter dinner at Marie & Aaron's house. Alex enjoyed watching the other kids and the kitty and eating cake.

First Easter Basket
Alex and Dad are healthy again. Mom is still a little sick. Alex is excited for Easter tomorrow. He did an egg hunt at school yesterday and he received an Easter Basket from Grandma Brady that he really liked. He especially like the Fox (in Sox) that matches a book he has. This week, Alex has been talking a lot and investigating everything he can get his hands on.

Under the weather
Everyone has been under the weather this weekend. Alex has a lot of congestion and possibly teething pain as well. We haven't had many adventures. Here's a video of Alex and Dad playing on the Elmo web site.

Alex rolls over
This morning when Mom went in to wake Alex, he was sleeping on his belly. Since he went to sleep on his back, he must have rolled over. While there were no witnesses, we'll give him credit for his first back to tummy roll. Also, here's a video from this weekend with Inez.

Alex meets his great grandma
Since Dad was out of town this weekend, Alex and Mom flew to Boston to meet Alex's 95 year old Great Grandma Inez. She was so excited to meet him and he was a perfect doll the whole weekend. Inez knew who he was right away and said many times how cute he was and how she just loved him.
Alex did great on the plane and is now able to sit in a restaurant high chair and eat little bites of table food like bread and cream of wheat. He has also started to give a lot of kisses, especially to Mom.

First School Foods
Alex started having school foods yesterday. This means that he sits at the table with the big boys and eats the official school breakfast. Yesterday it was chopped pears, graham crackers, and raisin bread. Mom and Dad aren't quite sure how he does it since he doesn't have teeth and he doesn't have very good fine motor skills. Presumably they mash it up for him.
