He has also really liked raisins recently. Here is a short video clip:

Back in a Routine

After 2 full weeks of vacation, Alex went back to school last week. He continues to learn lots of new words and new tricks. Yesterday he figured out how to cross his fingers (not for good luck - just for fun). And he likes to practice going up and down the stairs. He is really enjoying all of his new xmas presents, especially the books.

Great Holiday Vacation

Alex had a lot of fun on his holiday vacation this year. The travel delays didn't bother him at all, and he loves the planes, trains, and buses at the airport. In Minnesota, Alex had a great time feeding Grandpa Stewart's fish, watching for the kitty, sledding, going to the aquarium, hanging out at the coffee shop where cousin Diane works, eating blueberries, and reading books. He got to visit with lots of relatives and was very comfortable around all of them after a few timid moments. He received really nice clothes, books, and toys for Christmas. He practiced saying "please" and "thank you" when he wanted to try all the great food. He was a little scared by the rides at the Mall of America but will definitely try again next time.

After Minnesota, Alex went to La Quinta with mom's family. He loved the sun and the kiddy pool and the fountain where he played withe rubber ducks. He played tennis with Grandpa F and read the new airplane and tractor book from Aunt Ann and Uncle John.
