Crawling (Almost)

Julia is very close to crawling -- see the video below. We are very excited. Her teacher says that she is "very advanced". She is also practing screetching and eating bananas.

Alex has been practicing his jumping, numbers, and letters. The parents of another boy at school stopped Daddy today to tell him what a good friend Alex was to their son.

Unfortunately, also over the last week, Alex and Julia have each had a bout with a flu. On the bright side, they each got to take a day off of school. Mommy and Daddy are ready for them to be healthy again.

Train Ride

Alex and Julia went on a train ride with some other kids this weekend.  We saw Snoqualmie Falls from a train car that was almost 100 years old. 

Julia has started eating peas but she has not gotten too excited about them yet -- ice cream is only 6 months away. 

Easter 2010

We had a very fun Easter this year. We were very busy:
-- We met the Easter Bunny who is still very scary up close so nobody else is in the picture
-- Alex did an egg hunt at a local community event and got a lot of candy
-- Alex did some art projects and rode the very big slide
-- Julia smiled at everyone and made friends
-- Julia has started eating avocados and baby oatmeal and part of Daddy's bagel
-- Julia has started giving kisses! Almost all of them have been to Mommy so far
-- Alex and Daddy painted eggs
-- Alex and Mommy went to the Seattle Sounders Game with friends on Saturday
-- Everyone played soccer at the park on Easter. Alex was the goalie Kasey Keller all the time playing first with family and then with other kids.
-- Cousin Emily came over for a visit
