Our Newest Family Member!

His name is Runner and he's a bearded dragon. He is very spoiled.  Alex has done a really good job so far taking care of him.  As an added bonus we also adopted many many crickets that Runner eats.

Snow in Suncadia plus Skiing for the First Time

We made a quick trip to Suncadia with the Gills after Christmas. There was tons of snow and it was so beautiful! The kids loved sledding and tubing, swimming, and anything involving Lila and Kaye.

The kids also tried skiing for the first time at Snoqualmie West. They did great! A lesson got them started but they made the most progress skiing on their own in the kids area. It was a beautiful day!

Christmas 2015!

We had a really special Christmas at home: presents, nice egg strata breakfast, playing with presents, walk in the neighborhood, and a nice dinner (ham, broccoli, cream puffs).  Plus, Julia lost her first tooth on Christmas eve, so both Santa and the Tooth Fairy visited!

Alex's favorite presents were a reptile tank, a programmable ball name sphero, a flying machine model, a Mariner Moose pillow, legos, a terrarium, a kindle and some books.

Julia's favorites were a Cleverkeet, clothes, a yoga mat, a playmobil set, the Day the Crayons Came Home book, an engineering kit, a rainbow maker, and a braiding kit.

John likes his new yoga mat and Joanna likes her new sweat pants and travel pillow. We are all very lucky and grateful.

Christmas Festivities

We went to so many festive events this holiday season!
Nutcracker with the Feltons
Santa Brunch with the Feltons
Ice Skating
Garden D'Lights
Gingerbread Houses
Snowflake Lane
Celebration Lane
Star Wars
Snoqualmie Falls
Plus the kids went with Jennifer to see the Teddy Bears and the fancy Gingerbread Houses.

Kindergarten Parade!

Julia marched in the kindergarten parade. She created a float that was "All About Me" that had her favorite pictures and drawings. Afterwards the class did a really nice performance of singing and dancing, followed by a potluck with everyone's favorite foods. Julia brought homemade brownies and they were a hit.

Julia Gets 3rd Place!

Julia was in her first real chess tournament and she got 3rd place in the kindergarten division! She played 5 matches - won 2, tied 2, lost 1. Alex also got 3 points so both kids are now qualified for the state championships! Go Bobcats!
