Julia's EBC trip was to Gullah-Guchee area near Savannah to learn about history and culture of those previously enslaved people. She did indigo dying and learned about local cuisine. Then her team had a showcase in NC where they didn't do very well. As center back, Julia had a lot of action and made a lot of slide tackles. We also visited Davidson College which we both LOVED. And we drove through UNC and Duke. Then we traveled to DC. We spent a day exploring the Mall including the spy museum, African American museum, and all of the monuments. And we spend a day exploring Georgetown which was also amazing. Julia seems to like every college she visits. When we got home we went to the live Good Vibes FC show with Sam, Becky, and Lynn, our favorites!
