We have all mobile phone camera pictures this week. We were out and about without our regular camera the entire weekend. The sun came out this weekend in Seattle so we did a lot outside.
First, we went to the Sounders' game and toured the nearby donut factory (Krispy Kreme at 10pm).
Next, we visited Pike Place Market and basked in the sun. Julia got a new Dora bike (from Goodwill) on Saturday. She really likes it and she has ridden all the way to the playground twice.
On Sunday, we went to Marcus' birthday party and threw rocks into Lake Washington with Colin and Anna from school.

March Madness
Alex has finished the entire Star Wars movie series -- all six films. He seems to understand the entire plot but we skipped a few scary scenes and it took a lot of discussion. If you have a spare hour, ask him why Anakin turns into a bad guy. We have been playing Star Wars too and that usually ends in Darth Vader (Daddy) taking a beating.
Julia is now singing the full ABC Song (but sometimes without E, F, and G). She has been very well behaved except at bed time some nights. She prefers to sleep in full princess gear (tiara and frilly pink skirt). And, she sometimes takes naps in her beach lounger.
Some of the pictures are from a cell phone camera this time.

Tennis Stars
Alex started a new tennis class this past weekend. He had a lot of fun and was a great listener. Julia played with Mom & Dad on the next court. She was also awesome and had a much longer attention span than we expected. Alex has also been doing a lot of "creations" in the kitchen. In the one below, he made a cheerios-gummy snacks-brown sugar-pecan sandwich. His other fun thing recently is to write stories. He gives the story a title and then staples pages together and draws pictures on them. His recent stories include "The Lost Tree" and "The Great Mom". He has become a great reader and currently likes the Magic Tree House series. Julia's fun thing recently is dress up. She mostly likes princess dress up with her tutu and crown. Both kids still love the ipad and have been playing really nicely together, especially when there are two ipads.
