Blue Angels

Alex had a really fun day. He had a picnic on Mercer Island and watched the Blue Angels air show. He was very impressed with the stunts and wasn't bothered at all by the really loud jet engines.

Later, he had a bbq with Grandma & Grandpa Felton, Grandma Brady, Cousin Diane, Mom & Dad. He made some nice coos and impressive burps. He's becoming an expert at holding his head up.

He also had a bath and showed his allegiance to the Minnesota Twins by wearing his new outfit that grandma brought him.

August 4, Hiking Mount Rainier

Alex went hiking for the 1st time today. He went to the Paradise area of Mount Rainier. He spent most of the hike in the Baby Bjorn with Dad, so he was very happy.

Alex wore shorts for the 1st time today. He wore them hip hop style below his knees. It proved to be a poor wardrobe decision as Mount Rainier was very cold.

August 3, Seeing Seattle

Today Alex toured Seattle with Mom, Grandma, and Diane.

-- Shopping. Very boring. He fell asleep.

-- Lunch in Fremont

-- A walk on the Burke-Gilman Trail

-- A visit to Theo Chocolate in Fremont

-- A tour of the Seattle sculpture garden

He was either asleep or in a good mood neary all day.

At night, Grandma Brady gave him what may be his biggest bottle ever. Probably over 180 ml. He has not spit up at all (yet). Maybe there is something to Grandma's technique.

August 2, Alex Meets Grandma Brady and Cousin Diane

Today was a big day. Alex met his Grandma Brady and his cousin Diane from Minnesota.

They had lunch in Pike Place market, toured the University of Washington campus, and then had dinner at home. He was glad to meet them.

Going to Meet Grandma Tomorrow!

-- Alex was excited today because he is going to meet Grandma Brady and cousin Diane for the first time tomorrow.

-- Grandma Felton watched him this morning while Mom and Grandpa Felton played tennis.

-- He went with Mom and Dad to a new parents' meeting. He did some sleeping and then woke for a quick meal and to look at the other babies.
